Probation Violation Could Land Lindsay Lohan in Jail

Up until now, Lindsay Lohan has been lucky to avoid jail time stemming from her 2007 DUI charges, but her luck may have just run out. FOX News reports that the actress was issued another bench warrant for her arrest because of a violation with her probation. This comes just a couple weeks after posting $100,000 bail on an arrest warrant that was issued after the actress missed her court date.

Her most recent arrest comes from setting off her alcohol-monitoring SCRAM device. At her latest hearing, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lindsay Lohan to refrain from using alcohol and mandated that she wear a SCRAM device to enforce her soberness.

However, it looks like Lindsay Lohan just couldn't go too long without alcohol. After attending the MTV movie awards on Sunday, the device indicated that she had alcohol in her system. Her Los Angeles DUI defense lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, may have some difficulties defending the actress if she isn't following the terms of her probation.

Another Los Angeles DUI attorney named Steve Cron told Fox News that he would be very surprised if Lindsay Lohan manages to avoid jail again.

"I have known Judge Revel for a long time, and she isn't one to let people get away with wrong doings," Steve Cron says. "It seems Lindsay doesn't care much about anything and has no perception of the real world. The judge just isn't going to accept that."

We'll soon see if the 23-year-old actress slips passed the law again. Her most recent warrant was revoked after she posted $200,000 bond. She is set to appear in court on July 6.
